Dumpsters must be placed on hard surfaces such as concrete driveways or gravel spaces.  NOT ACCEPTABLE items in dumpsters: Tires & major appliances (washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, water heater, dehumidifier, etc.) Automotive (lead/acid) batteries Absolutely NO chemicals, paint or stains, hazardous or special/regulated wastes, oil, or any other liquids Animal carcasses Appliances with Freon™ Asbestos Barrels with lids secured Chemical products Electronics Contaminated soils Fluorescent tubes Medical waste Oil filters, Propane tanks, Radioactive material Railroad ties Other special wastes
